Our AMAZING this wee pocket rocket. SO when she applied for a position here at VAMP - I admit, I had my hopes up... AND SHE EXCEEDED THEM! Wee Mel is stella at foiling and all long hair techniques.
She may be no taller than your average 12 year old but HOLY MOLY she can do the hair, haha haven't had any issues with reach... yet... Thank goodness for hydraulic pumps on salon chairs!
Wee Mel - is just super easy going, a hard worker and just a nice wee elf.
Strengths A PLENTY and weaknesses... yet to find.
Shame she is also a bit of a nutjob... just adding to the circus here at VAMP. xxx
Why Hairdressing?
"I’ve always loved playing with hair! Back in my early high school days I used to braid the girls hair at lunch haha. From there, it has become a passion to make people feel their best - I love how big the industry is!"
Why Vamp?
"Because of new opportunities! Vamp has such a cool vibe in the salon! I also get to work with some of the girls who have trained me in the past & meet a whole new bunch of people so I’m super happy to be here."
What is your role at Vamp?
"Emerging Stylist! Aiming to qualify soon."
What is your bag? Ya know... What do you love doing and what are you fabulous at?
"Balayage is one of my favourite things to do! I love colouring, foiling and literally anything that’s on trend! I’m also all for a complete colour change hehe. - virgin or blonde haired gals you have the best canvas."
Career achievements?
"The biggest will be when I qualify - hehehe."
Celebrity hair crush - whose do you want and whose would you kill to do?
"Absolute envy all of Billie Eilish’s colour & cuts! I’d kill to do Gwen Stefani’s hair - damn that girl literally suits any hairstyle!!!"
Fave music?
"Anything I can sing along to... lol or shout to... Fleetwood Mac, ABBA, 50 cent. Bit of a jungle mix haha. But also love some D 'n' B!"
Fave food?
"Pizza is my weakness, followed by donuts. Caramel lattes? Is that a food source? Has to be!"
